Is a statement of comparability from UK ENIC required?

Hello,

My wife would like to look for a part-time job in the UK now that our children are getting a bit older. She is degree-educated in Taiwan and has her certificate and transcripts but they're all in Chinese. She would like to look for a low-skilled job in the UK such as a housekeeper, supermarket etc. to get acquainted with working life here in the UK. Does she need to get a statement of comparability for her qualifications when she is applying for basic jobs in the UK?

And would she need one further on down the line when applying for more professional roles?

She has recently successfully obtained her further leave to remain and has full working rights.

It would be useful to hear others' experiences with this.

Thanks,

Mark

When applying for low skilled jobs, she won't be asked for her degree documentation; she would probably be asked to explain her level of secondary education.
For more professional jobs, yes her degree documentation would be required.

She should get the documentation translated and statement of comparability
