Shipping from US to UK

We're wanting to return our household effects from the US to the UK.

o Does anyone know what's required from UK Customs in the way of paperwork and other documents to minimise any tax we may need to pay?

o Has anyone sorted the shipping themselves rather that use a moving company? How did you go about it?

o Or, failing that, can anyone recommend a moving company in the DC area?

Thanks,

i

Check out Wheaton Worldwide and Rinkens - they both have received good reviews here before. (try using the search facilty for posts about these two companies)
