Default Shipping recommendations from NY to UK

It's a long way off, but if it's going to cost around 5 grand or so to move back, I have to start thinking of saving now.

Does anyone have any experience with, or can recommend any shippers who do international moves from NY to the UK.

We have a fair amount of stuff (a lot of which we are going to to try and sell), but still quite a bit to go back.

It's over a year away, so we are not too concerned, just need to budget for it.

Hi! you have a couple of options, either use a mover in NY who will use a partner in the UK to deliver your belongings OR use a mover in the UK who will use a partner in NY to collect them. Which works best for you may depend on both the difference in cost and whether you prefer to have your point of contacts locally at origin or destination? You could get quotes from both to allow you to compare?

At this stage it might be worth just calling to ask for ball park quotes for your current situation, they'll give you an idea of how much you need to cut down on shipping to reach an affordable budget for you.

hope that helps?

Rinkens and Wheaton Worldwide both have got good reports for US-UK moves.
