My wife and I live in Sarasota. Is there anywhere here in Florida or else where in the U.S. where we can get cheese from the U.K. ?
Publix does Double Gloucester, bit it's a bit bland. We both really miss good strong cheese.
Our favourite brand in the U.K. was Collier's Welsh Cheddar.
Thanks

Have you looked in the Deli section? Our publix has a really good selection of cheese from around the world. Otherwise try to find a "Whole Foods". We were in one in Tampa the other day and they had a great selection of world cheeses. Lastly have a look for a local British shop that might import some. Our closest one is in Largo.

Not sure if it's the same mature Irish Cheddar we buy from Costco (black wrapper)...hubby loves it.

Costco does a passable Cabot Classic Vermont Extra Sharp Cheddar. Wholefoods does real English Cheddar. Hope you find what you're looking for.

its pretty easy to find imported cheddars and theres plenty good flavoured US ones (you just have to bypass the horrid rubber cheddar/colby/jack section in the supermarket) and ive also seen caerphilly, even once or twice an orange cheshire, generally though the cheeses i miss are lancashire, cheshire and wensleydale as they are my favourites and quite unique, i know you can get them online etc but its one of those staples that is now a luxury.
