Role of Country name on the Certificate of sponsorship for UK visa.

I have been issued certificate of sponsorship with the home address in Pakistan.
I visit Canada intermittently. Can I apply for UK visa from Canada.
Or, I must apply from Pakistan because the address on the certificate of sponsorship is of Pakistan.
Please comment. Thank you.

Why is COS issued with address in Pakistan if you live in Canada?
Doesn't the company know you live in Canada?

You can’t apply from Canada unless you legally reside there. If you only hold a visitor visa for Canada then you’ll need to apply from Pakistan.
