Yup - him and David Vine in the space of a few days.
Both evoke some good memories from younger days.

I used to watch Take Hart religiously. What a shame his health was so bad in later years.

Now I have the gallery music playing in my head......

As a mark of respect I did a minutes wave earlier with my arms in the air to the "Vision On" tune....

I'm devastated.

I didn't pick him in the office game of celebrity stiffs - I plumped for Buzz Aldrin. Not fair, is it?

Unhappy Re: RIP Tony Hart

So sad.

'Vision On' in some ways was years ahead of its time. I can't recall any other TV programme which included viewers with disabilities; there was always someone doing sign-language for the deaf, and many contributions of artwork came from disabled children.

There is a nice obituary and short video (including Morph) here:

It was sad to hear Tony Hart die. I used to watch him on TV as a kid in Scotland. I was never good at Art but still enjoyed watching him on the box.
