Returning to the UK, tax implications?

I;m hoping to move back to the UK pretty soon. Been living abroad for many years and would like to come home to retire. Does anyone know what I should expect with regards to bringing my savings home? I am currently living in a tax free country and wondering what the tax implications will be on my return. Thanks,
