Hi, Your daughter could still do A levels at a college or 6th form college even though she would be 18 her education would be free as well.

I think they are an excellent choice and would advise anyone to have a look at the courses on offer before applying to Uni. Lots of advantages one of the best ones is that most colleges are fairly local and students could still live a home (save costs plus still have parental guidance etc)

" FE lecturers are paid almost entirely to teach, not simply teach in the odd free moments between pursuing their research" Both our sons seem to have very short lectures and work by themselves either in the Library with a group of other students or they do a lot of assignments away from the Uni, you do have to wonder where the extra fee charges are going?
