Rete Or Maybe some one else Question Please !

Hello,

Got AOS coming up. My Wife and her father are sponsors. I want to be
able to sponsor myself because I earn enough for the 3 of us. I've
only been working 7 months. What evidence can I give the immigration
people of proof that I earn enough to submit an Affidavit of Support
on behalf of myself ?

What way do I go about this ?

Thanking you in advance.

Hi:

Employer letter, you paycheck stubs. You should have your W-2's soon.

Nonsense.
I had a co-sponsor at the original filing. At AOS I produced pay-stubs and a
letter from my employer. No issues at all.

Rubbish. I've done it and so have others. Plain and simple ;)

There was an issue with one (or both) of the Portland offices not following
the law on this. I don't know if it got resolved or not. However, the law
(as detailed on the I-864 itself) allows an immigrant to use their income as
part of the household income so long as they have been living in the same
household for six months. They don't need to fill out the I-864A, which a
co-sponsor normally would do, unless they have children immigrating with
them.

Andy.
