Any advice please on how to move our 10 year old daughter's RESP from Canada back into some sort of UK investment plan or premium bonds?

Don't think you should put money into premium bonds - you get next to nothing back!

You get next to nothing back everywhere these days! At least there's a chance she'll win some prizes...

Hi,

We have premium bonds, we will not loose anything and the odds of wining are better than the lottery lol seriously though there is hardly anything with a decent return and low risk at the moment but there are some better rates for children/youths though so have a good look around. Good luck

I think a JISA (Junior ISA) would be a good option, and hopefully lead to a good habit of continuing to save during adulthood.

Thanks but we're OK with what to do with it back in the UK but has anyone actually ever closed and moved an RESP back from Canada? Is it possible and how?

Hi, I had a look on some information boards for you and there were lots of questions on RESP but not one about closing/transferring your RESP, maybe post this question on the Canadian site as someone there might have more information. Good luck
