Removal recommendations US back to UK please
 

Hi all,

Please could anyone give any shipping company recommendations or companies to avoid. We are moving in July from Asheville, NC to Newbury, Berks.

We moved from UK to US 3 years ago with Fox who were brilliant UK side, but it was a different company stateside (LTV international removals) who were an absolute shambles.

We are moving back in 3 weeks the shipping company are coming in this coming Thursday...I knew which company I wanted to use back in Scotland, so we called them and told them we wanted to use them when our goods arrived and who were their contact here in Houston....They gave us the name and contact details of the company they use, we called them told them the name of the company in Scotland and everything is now set up...

I am hoping this works out for us....

Try searching (Advanced Search) for threads in the MBTTUK forum that include the words "Wheaton" and "Rinkens" for some previous threads that will also include other company recommendations.

(Also, as you have learned, it's important to ask what local company they will use at the other end. I used Fox in 2001 to move UK-US, but the US end was Wheaton, not LTV).

I have yet to have success finding an honest mover :(
