Relocation back to UK vehicles

We arre in the process of relocating parents back to the UK after 20 years in France. My father has 4 Motorcylces to bring back. 2 are registerd in UK but not in france and the other two are motorcycles that he has built but are not registered anywhere. Will we have to pay duty when we bring them back ?
