Recommendations Cheap NZ to UK Removers??
We have just had four quotations ranging from $12,000 kiwi to $18,000 kiwi all for the same service; moving a 40ft high cube container from Wellington to Glasgow.
When we contacted the lowest quote company they said they had a run of bookings last week and could no longer service our move.
Similar situation with the second lowest.
Yikes!!!
We wanted to leave by 31st January at the latest but this is now looking precarious. Anyone know any inexpensive companies that would do a good job?

Who have you had quotes from?
We have been quoted $10000 from The Moving Company but that was only for a 20ft container.

Hi Sunray,
We have had quotes from Grace, Conroy, NZ Van Lines & Crown Removers.
We are now waiting on a quote from Allied Movers and someone else that I can't remember at the moment.

We had quotes from Crown, Pickfords and the moving company 20ft $9800 we were a little under so got $7800 with Crowhave you tried NZ van lines the quotes do not look high for a 40ft our stuff went in November although we don't fly until end of Jan we are also leaving Wellington and going to the West Country!
Intersting your the 2nd family I have spoken to leaving from kapiti and to go back to the UK and also I know another lot just left to retrun to Glasgow small world!
