Receiving RRIF in the UK

Hello,
I would be very grateful if someone can direct me to some information or the correct page on the GOV.UK website that tells me whether or not I have to pay UK taxes on periodic RRIF payments received in the UK. My confusion is about whether a RRIF held in Canada is taxed on the interest it makes. i.e a foreign asset. Of course I understand that RRIF payments may indirectly contribute to our overall income and as such may incur paying the UK tax people.

Thank you so much.

Mr C
