FYI,
recent UK quotes for tax preparation that I received are:
US prep & Filing £ 1,000 + VAT in 1st year, £700 + VAT thereafter
UK prep & filing £ 650 +VAT

Thats awful.I think we'll do turbo tax online seeing it's just federal. Or I saw that it's free filing direct with the feds. I have to look it up.

indeed, same here, we will read up well, trawl for info from USC posters on the web, and make a shot of it by TurboTax (which we have used for many years now).
