Default Purchasing a laptop in Canada to use in the UK

Does anyone have an idea of the pros and cons other than the financial gain of purchasing a laptop in Canada before returning to the UK to live? Will there be issues with the power distribution?

Power shouldn't be an issue (you will just need an adaptor).

The warranty will likely be invalid outside of Canada.

The keyboard may be different (US/UK keyboard is different, don't know about Canada).

That's about it, I think.

That looks like all the issues covered.

If you buy a Dell you can get international warranty cover but it costs $250.
