Pre-settled Status Automatically Extended?

Hello, I'm posting here once more because this community has been such a great resource and has helped me out alot.

My question is regarding my wife's Pre-settled Status. Based on what information is available, it appears that the Home Office's new policy is to automatically extend Pre-settled Status for 5 years for almost everyone, regardless of their situation. My wife’s current status is:

Status: Pre-settled Status (EUSS).
  • My wife's Pre-settled Status is set to expire on April 23, 2026.
  • Going back 60 months from that date, back to Friday, 23 April 2021, when she received her Pre-settled Status, my wife has only been present in the UK for a total of 22 months.
  • She has not been outside the UK for more than two consecutive years.
Question: Based on the above, will she automatically be extended with Pre-settled Status for 5 more years?

If anyone can advise, it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, she should be. She would need to have been resident for 30 out of 60 months be considered for settled status.
