prawns and emigrants

Many would have seen this already but it really is so funny it is worth seeing again.
In my own experience i would change one thing, i would replace prawns with beaches :D
I am amazed when expats tell us that their new life isnt quite what they expected, all the same bills, expenses etc BUT just look at the beaches. They couldnt go to a beach like that back in Blighty :D

Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (rtsp) isn't associated with any program.

Maybe this is a link to your youtube list rather than the file itself?

Perhaps the pot calling the kettle black? 'The UK has been named the worst place to live in Europe for quality of life, behind countries with damaged economies such as Ireland and Italy, according to the latest uSwitch quality of life index.' :frown:

Just shows you shouldn't believe indexes/surveys. The press only likes to report them in a negative light in UK as well.
Personal and emotional factors will play a large part in most people's quality of life perception. Even something like how secure your job feels makes a huge difference.

And who are uSwitch - what could be their motivation?

Ah you havent met Returnee then  he digs this crap up and uses the justification that he is just researching a possible return. He's basically harmless. I have no idea who uSwitch are either :D
