Hi Y'all

Question, I will be traveling to England in July.

I am from the states, Texas specifically.. Us Texans will always be super proud to be from Texas lol.

Anywho,

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for the best phone company to use while there.
Ill just be getting a SIM.

Your current location has no bearing on phone sims!

Try ID mobile, mine is £10 a month for 10GB data and unlimited calls and texts. You can compare monthly sim deals on various websites to see who has the best offer on when you arrive, it does change all the time. And if you go through a cash back site like Quidco or Topcashback, you'll get a bit back as well.

HTH.

Best advice I can give as a regular sim user is don't buy one at the airport or airport retails stores, you will pay a lot more. Go directly to a supermarket - think Asda or Tesco's and pick one up there for 5, 10 or 15 pounds depending on your own usage requirements.

I picked up one from Amazon for our trip to the UK this week. That way, I have one in the phone right from the get go. I got one of these; https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FI1JW72

I live in Australia. Whenever I go to the UK I find the best value for what I need is with 3: I get the free one and top it up as needed, the unused credit never expires, and if I need a lot of data I just buy an add-on.
