Default People who return home

I've noticed that the folk who return back to the UK from here seem to be long-timers as opposed to newly-landeds as we see on the other forum.

Why would that be?

Maybe because its a lot harder to get the visa/GC for the US than it is for Oz or Canada people think they should stick it out.

Many people come here because they are married to a USC.

Maybe they are brainwashed into thinking this is the land of opportunity, land of the free and all the streets are paved with gold.
