It has been extremely windy all day in Torquay, but it has died down and is now raining lightly.

The new Benidorm will start in April sometime but if you can catch it from the start on DVD it's a blast!

Can't wait for the new Benidorm I think that is my guilty pleasure show.
That is why I still enjoy Corrie, the humour. I watched Last Tango in Halifax and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have found two episodes of Benidorm on the Iplayer, so I will have peek at those later.

There are loads of episodes of Benidorm on you tube. I've watch all the way to the end of the last season

Great! I will look them up and that might become my new "ironing show"
I have been taking my iPad into the utility room aka my "woman cave" and watching "Heartbeat" whilst doing my ironing, so I can now add "Benidorm" to my domestic chores viewing list.

Hi curley,
Same here in Portsmouth, very windy and heavy rain now, and supposed to be getting dryer tomorrow afternoon, and then in a couple of days heavy winds and rain again which will last a while,

I've loved Heartbeat & watched it when I could find it since the '90's. I never ever dreamed all those years ago that I'd one day live just a stone's throw away from it. The setting takes me back to my childhood when we were always exploring our countryside on weekends and holidays in Dad's little Ford Escort back in the early-mid 60's. We're looking forward to visiting Goathland (Aidensfield) in the spring when OH has some time off.

Hey Rodney, hope you managed to stay dry! So far we're getting the respite the weatherman promised this morning, looking like a glorious autumn day here so for

Love every minute!

I'm another vote for Last Tango in Halifax. Especially loved the car chase down Skipton High Street as we've spent a lot of time in that town while house hunting in that area, and it will be one of our local towns once we move.

I chuckled that one family lives near Halifax and one in Harrogate as right there you have the class divide in Yorkshire in a nutshell. Should make for some good fun in future episodes.

Mostly it's just nice to see Yorkshire as the central backdrop for a story that isn't about how grim it is up north

I especially enjoyed Alan's dialogue during that scene as he was attempting to tell the police of their whereabouts over the phone - absolutely hilarious!
