Lovely photo's Rosie, Frome looks so different in the sunshine, of course I was only there when it was winter and the trees were bare, so thanks for sharing.

Now you get to see some of the natural beauty here. There is a lot more to explore, but that involves a real walk! And I am not always in the mood for a hike!:)

If I win the lottery, I'm buying this place and doing it up:
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-...-18717618.html

It's on the best street in Kendal (IMO) on an elegant row of Georgian townhouses. Looks like a few of them had been owned by the council and turned into flats and now they're being sold off. I just love those tall windows and high ceilings, and I can imagine having architects and designers and builders all working to turn it into a wonderful home. *sigh*

I also saw this one today - again only if I win the lottery

Jackie,

Very little has changed in LV as you can see from this news item:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43673620...-las_vegas_nv/

What does it say 6 shot at a funeral?

That is such a lovely house ... and as for rich, you forget that you showed us your house already. We all know you're loaded

I plan to go to Sedgwick in a few weeks when we're over there to check it out, along with some of the other villages in the area. We have to check out the pubs in each village and find which is the best one!

There was a item in the British press today about 8 pubs close every week over there but thats old news, but they were saying that those that own the pubs are not being completely honest in their presentations to those they lease them to.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-14060490

I bring this up so you can keep in mind that the pub you chose could close. Not to worry.

Wish the one next door would close. The Trustees here are talking of installing secondary double glazing in my unit to help with noise and heating bills....hope that happens.:)
