I called them Jubilees too or Calypsoes. Not sure why. They still make Jubbiles, only they have changed shape, easier to eat frozen now.

Well you know that we say that everything in America comes big!!! well I was watching the 6pm news on telly last night and it showed right here in England a farmer with a big giant PUMPKIN that measured all the way around the middle an amazing 17 feet ----- and it was still growing, and the farmer was asked how much bigger he thinks it will get? ----- he replied well thats anybodys guess, I have no Idea,
So I suppose that right here in England we have big things too he hopes it will be entered into the guiness book of records.

Let's hope there's no one in close proximity if it decides to explode

Agreed - September was sunny and mild but October has been wet and windy so far - for large parts of the UK - and more to come. I wonder what weather forecast cheers is looking at

Unless half the housing stock is bought by Russian oligarchs, I don't see how house prices can get much higher.

The British press are always saying things such as that...then the next day they are saying house prices are set to drop. Same thing with the economy...

I couldn't agree with you more! Sometimes they contradict themselves on the same page.
I think there are a lot of pubs near the newsrooms and that's where they create their stories.

Nice to see you posting again Rodney. I hope you and your mom are continuing to improve.

Just read about another place I think I could enjoy living in in England (so many places) and that is by you and that is Christchurch ( well maybe not by you but on the south coast)

Rod, did you drop the idea of getting a drives license? If you did I am with you on your decision! Anything about cars equals big money. Having said that, the price of fuel is really dropping fast here.

Cheers
