Red face Notifying the Inland Revenue (Form P85)

Hello again!

I'm trying to find out whether I need to complete a P85 form or not. Its 9:15pm here in the UK, and the IR office is not closed, so I'm hoping someone can let me know!

Heres the link for the information: http://www.inlandrevenue.gov.uk/nonr...s/fagp85.shtml

Many thanks friends,

Dee

Depends on when your moving abroad or not, I think your supposed to, I did and got my years taxes back which was nice...took a while though for the refund.

What is your reason for coming to the USA? You have to remember that taxes are higher in the UK than here so your reason is important
. Bobs answer is fair comment but I only got back my UK taxes after proving that I was paying the IRS my dues here in the USA.
