Default Not just the house, but now the cars are getting in on the act.

Poor Dh's days off last week consisted of, replacing two tyres on Ds's car, then the following day re aligning it (old car, good job he's the mechanic) then the following day my car decided to get in on the action and one of the belt pullies gave up the ghost, replaced that and yesterday it's the tensioner now that needs to be replaced. So guess what he's doing today when he gets up
I swear everything is ganging up on us.
Ds is in the middle of finding a car in UK, and not having his Dad there to do the checks is really bothering me. I've told him to go and see his Grandad (Dh's Dad) Dh's little sister is also married to a mechanic, maybe he'll check one over if Grandad will help him find something. he finds something good. I sent him a link to a nice sounding Nissan the other day.
Oh and to make me nervous, Ds (17 year old) has a new girlfriend. I will meet her on Friday. I'm told by other Moms she's a nice girl, so I hope it doesn't last too long. I asked him, if he fell in love and was all moon struck was he going to still move, he said "yes I still want to, I miss my brother"

Oh gosh, you are probably torn between wanting to like this new girlfriend, but not wanting her to be so nice that she might in some way impede the move back to the UK!

Well good and bad news.
Bad, now my car needs tyres Poor Dh.
Good, the girlfriend is super smart and wants to study abroad, she's planning on Paris and her GPA is 4.4 My jaw dropped when I heard about her grades, he's got himself a genius and will be closer to her college when in UK than here in California if they are still together next year. She's also a vegetarian, this may be the thing that drives them apart, he's a real meat lover like his Dad
