Default Northern Ireland and the PETS Scheme - Can we come through Dublin?

Hi,

I'm beginning to price shipping my cat back to Northern Ireland from the USA. It suddenly occurred to me that instead of going through London it might be possible to go through Dublin (which is much cheaper and easier).

I'm not sure if that is even possible...has anyone any opinion?

I enjoyed seeing the words cheaper and Dublin in the same sentance for a change
