NI number
My husband moved from the Uk (England) to Canada in 1966. He did his electrical apprenticeship in the UK and worked for a while. Would he have a NIN? If he does, is it possible to find it now?

Thank you.

Re: NI number
I found a National Savings Certificate book with an ID number starting with RZ. Is that the same/old name for the current NIN?

Re: NI number
No idea.....have you tried the link I sent you?

Re: NI number
My NI starts with YZ
If the number you have consists of two letters 6 numbers then one letter then it probably is his NI number |
Re: NI number
Yes I did follow the link but couldn’t get past the post code. We live in Ontario, Canada but it requires a UKpost code. I tried the code for his parents house as he lived at home before moving to Canada but that was rejected as well.

Re: NI number
This just has two letters followed by five numbers so not right.

God.... what a useless system..... why don't UK Government systems allow for Brits who have moved overseas to access the systems. It's like they have not knowledge of people moving overseas..... |
