Hi - I am moving back to the UK and want to take my cocktail cabinet back which contains several bottles of spirit (opened and unopened) Am I allowed to put this with my house hold good when they are packed by the removal firm and shipped back to London.

Different packers have different rules - ask your removal firm.

I was NOT allowed to pack any liquids.

Nor was I (from Australia). Although scouse and I don't drink much, we do travel a lot and we always bought duty free alcohol coming back, so we had about 25 bottles of unopened spirits including cognacs, old single malts etc.

Ended up giving it all to family members, they were very happy :lol:
