That's what the rules say.

Anecdotal evidence is starting to appear in other communities about applications filed after July 9 under the new rules. It seems the Home Office is being VERY particular about documentation and in some cases refusing applications for what seems like miniscule "screw ups" with docuemntation.

Because of this, I think you or anyone else with anything other than a straight forward app should at least have a consult with a reputable immigration attorney. If for nothing other than have them look at your evidence and see if it will pass muster.

I don't personally, no.

If you use Facebook, search for "Transpondia". Read the "Posts by Others" for the names of experts Transpondia has referred other readers to. Or ask the question specifically for yourself.

Also have a look look on www.uk-yankee.com there are lots of people who are applying/have applied/will apply so it's a good place to see what is going on with the immigration rules. Post a question over there too.
