What he said. When I went through this and answered the questions of where the money had come from I didn’t even have to provide proof of house sale. Once the money was in the UK bank and ready to transfer to the lawyers for purchase of the UK house I was asked again where the money was coming from and I did provide screenshots of the money going from my US brokerage to my UK bank. (I had put the money from the house sale in the US into our brokerage company).
