Moving back to uk

Hi, I am a dual national of us and uk and am looking to move back to uk. Can i apply for my wifes settlement visa while still living here or do i need to be in the uk first? Also do i need to show if i have a job over there or just that i have funds and accomodation? Any help appreciated.

Welcome to BE :)

You should have a look downwards, there's a few threads about this subject already, so you'll probably find your answer pretty quickly if you looked.

Might also want to look into something like http://www.uk-yankee.com/ as you'll probably find more info on folks moving to the UK there.

Your wife will have to be outside the UK in order for her to apply for settlement.

You can apply while you are still overseas - I assume that is what you mean:)
