moving back home!

hey Everyone!

We`ve been in Calgary for 3 years, we emmigrated with a 2 and 3 year old and i was 6 months pregnant...our youngest was born here.

it`s been a long road and after a huge meltdown (from me) it finally came out that I want to go home.

we are trying to think with our heads so I`m heading back for a few days, yep arrive sunday morning leave wednesday...i must be crazy lol. we`ve heard so many people say as soon as we landed we knew we made a mistake so we are trying to take out that surprise.

we`ve gave it a good go here but it`s just not for us, moving here has made us a lot stronger and we don`t regret at all.

Has anyone done the moving back and regreted it or knew straight away it was the best?

thanks

i think there is a thread about moving back and regretting it if you look through, there is lots of info on there.
I can't advice as i am still living here, but i do understand your predicament as we are in that quandry ourselves!!
You want to do the right thing but just hope that it turns out that way! Its def easier making a descion to move out than vice versa!

We have a 3,4 and 8 year old. I feel really sad for our 8 year old as she left a school she really adored and had a lot of friends and one best friend. She now, hates going to school. Yesterday, she actually was sent home with stomach pains, which funnily enough dissapeared and reappeared this morning!!
I was really naive thinking she would settle happily into a new school and some days i feel desperatly sad, others are ok.

Good luck with your descion and hope its the best for you as a family.:fingerscrossed:
