Mail Delivery
We are about to sell our house of 32 years in the US and move to Scotland
My question is this,
Other than giving our new address to as many people as possible is there anything we can do about mail sent to our old address?
I thought about redirecting it to a friends house but I would rather avoid that if possible
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Re: Mail Delivery
If you walk into a US Post office and ask for a form to redirect your mail to your overseas address I believe they will do this for a year. Not sure of the cost these days, it used to be free.

Re: Mail Delivery
UPS will also provide a mailbox and forwarding service, for a price.

Re: Mail Delivery
I did it a few years ago and it worked fine. Caught a couple of official items where my address change hadn't got through the company's systems.
