This is actually our biggest stress as the moment can you believe? Our dog is so attached to us and thinks he's one of us.
Not sure yet. Need to do a lot of research.
I know from Madrid to Montevideo the airline and staff are more dog friendly than the UK. less strict.
We have friends who have been 5 times with their dog (Spain to Uruguay) with it in the cabin and it is oversized according to the regulations.

Flights booked for the 25th Nov!!

Removal company coming with a 20ft container on the 20th Nov!!

Still 2 cars to sell and lost of paperwork to be done for the dog and my wife to leave. (yes she needs to prove she's been living here even though she has a visa extension), The embassy didn't accept our joint bank accounts statements!! We need to provide 3 sources!
Also issues with the UK APHA pet export ministry and Uruguayan import laws.

Our UK ministry APHA has a certificate that is 12 years old and does not match the new laws from the embassy. They won't cooperate so we're having to get both certificates signed by the vet 10 days prior to export (The UK state 72 hours which is an impossible timeframe). Luckily the embassy said 10 days is their law so that sticks with us!! What a farse.

So super mega stressed right now.

Best wishes to you, your wife and your son with your return to Uruguay.

Wonderful!! Our dog is back in for x-rays today as he's either fratcured his leg or his recent operation with an implant on his joint has gone wrong! Emergency visit last night at 6.30pm!

The vet also said in regards to the health certificate she always just faxes it to the ministry, we don't send it off!! 3 different procedures. She's going to call the pet ministry today and make sure.

oh on top of this my son's passport renewal was rejected as they damaged his application form so have to start again!!!!! The first time they mispelled his name on the passport!! Now the second time they lot his application or something.

You poor thing - my brain was like mush with all the running around prior to returning home and I didn't even have all that to contend with.

Hope your pooch is ok. If he needs surgery (I hope he doesn't!), then he should be fine to fly by 25 November. Deep breaths and just focus on one thing at a time - it doesn't feel like it now but everything will get done One positive - you'll be so stuffed after all this that you should be able to sleep on the plane!
