All I know is, the consumption of alcohol in the US actually went up during prohibition. Of course, the tax revenue from alcohol sales plummeted which is why prohibition was repealed...

Just saying ... If you really want kinder eggs ....

They are those things that you see a picture of if you do a Google image search for kinder egg.

Anyway, they are supposedly illegal in the USA. Problem is, unlike guns, the founding fathers did not think to write out a constitutional amendment saying that citizens' rights to own & eat them should not be abridged.

You don't mean those awful Kinder eggs? Does anyone actually eat them?

LOL cant believe you never heard of them ! Are they not available in the UK either? (though I am sure they are not illegal in the UK, they may not be sold there)

I personally like them once in a while...

I think they are, they started putting the toy in a plastic container after a kid choked on one.

It's dangerous out there. I'll definitely think twice before making a video of me swallowing a teaspoon of cinnamon.

Sadly I did know someone whose little boy died by choking on a silverskin pickle. The story on the BE home page keeps reminding me of it.

Well, I suppose I should have written "my husband." Attributive adjectives are just so hard to control! Or is that Englishmen? Or husbands? Or anything?
