I heard the full report of this on BBC Radio 4 News. The charge is that he bought, from the US manufacturer, machines designed for finding lost golf balls and sold them to foreign governments as bomb detectors. Unit cots to him was US$14 and he sold them to Iraq and KSA for US$25,000.

There was a day when Britain exported real things like railway locmotives but now............................................
