The original thread was regarding juvenile convictions. Just to add a bit more info these where 30 years ago.
My main concern is if they are taken into account when applying for a residential visa.
Any ideas, info much appreciated.

Perhaps you should get a one-time consultation with an immigration attorney, to evalute them.
