Default Jobs in the UK

Anyone moving back, or already moved back, explored the UK job market? I would be interested to hear what your findings are. Usually, very few people get a job offer while they are still overseas but I have had some positive response from this site where you can post your CV:

Network, network, network!!! I just got back from Canada & landed a pretty good job with the local County Council thanks to a good friend!! Clearly I had to carry the interview but the advice she gave was invaluable!!!

Good luck!!!

Default Re: Jobs in the UK

I moved back 4 months ago and am actually a recruitment consultlant.

I would reccommend registering with a good agency in your area - a lot of my clients are using agenices and not advertising their roles themselves as they have been innundated with CV's that don't match the criteria.

Meet the consultant as well and build good relationship with them as I find it easier to place people that I really get to know well and who I can confidently talk about with my clients!

Hope that helps a bit,

Claire

PS I have never been happier now I am home !
