WOW!!!! What a gift that child has. Bought tears to my eyes hearing her sing. I hope she does well in life, and isn't spoiled by the high life.

Truly a gift.

Well, because she is an 11 year old little girl masquerading as a heartbroken (the song she is singing) adult. All of the gestures and expressions are adult on a childs face and body. Whilst I don't disagree that she has an amazing talent I think it is very sad that she will have no childhood, never be a normal teenager and probably be in rehab by the time she is 19 having divorced her pushy parents. Sorry for being so cynical. :(

No, not at all, it is all assumption based on other child stars going off the rails and divorcing their parents etc. I feel sorry for her and anyone else who thinks that fame will automatically make them happy and fulfilled.

Yes she did. And yes I found her very scary but I also found that anorexic girl on Op Knocks years ago scary and we were the same age.

There is something very unnatural about it. Yes she has a great voice but why do "they" give these kids such grown up songs to sing

Why is it, when someone has a gift there are allways people that say they are weird or will miss out of something in their childhood?

I agree some child stars have gone off the rails, but we know so much about them due to the publicity. The others have found their place in a career of their choice, and we rarely hear about them.

I think we should take pleasure in this childs talent and be thankful she is not like some her age with very little motivation or quality. Perhaps she may even help others her age see they can do more than watch TV or play video games or surf the net.

That said I am off to surf the net.... LOL

She reminds me of Joss Stone, although younger. I think she has a wonderful voice. I loved the audience reaction, that brought tears to my eyes.
