Income Splitting (Pension)

Could anyone advise if there are provisions in the UK Income Tax system whereby a couple can income split? Specifically with pensions.

Like what is available in Canada : https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-age...splitting.html

I searched this site and the UK Gov site and could not find a similar provision.

I don’t think so - we were pleasantly surprised to find out about it in Canada a few years ago. Would be delighted to find out we’re wrong though!

In very limited circumstances, there is the opportunity to transfer part of the personal allowance from one spouse to the other, but it's not really income splitting.
