Unhappy I am desperate!

So I am applying for my uk spousal visa so that I can join my husband in the Uk. We just got married this past Sept and he went back to england and i stayed behind to file my spousal visa. ... now here lies the problem(i hope it isnt a big deal) I was in England back in Feb and they only allowed me 1 month and I ended up staying for 2 1/2 because of financial reasons. But I left and havent been back obviously haha but now in the application it is asking me when I've been there and for how long now when I put he truth will I get turned down for my spousal visa!? I was thinking of getting a whole other passport so that it doesnt show that .... I am so scared, this visa thing is putting such a strain on us. HELP PLEASE

We're mostly a bunch of British Expats in the US around here. I very much doubt there's a single one of us who can provide knowledgeable answers about British spousal visas. You'd be better off posting on a US Expats board.

I'l move your query into the UK forum.

However as dbj1000 says, there isn't much info on here for UK visas. There is a good website here thats worth a try.

If you are an American, then uk-yankee.com is your new home.

Replacing your passport might "hide" the actual ink stamps, but the passport information has been scanned. Best you not do that; who knows how long it would take?

Check out uk-yankee.com .

Silly Sod and Britex must have recently gotten visas for their wives....

I dearly wish I was on uk-yankee.com , which is why I know of it. 8.5 years left.
