Default Hurricane Katia to hit Scotland

It won't technically be a hurricane but the computer models suggest it will cross over parts of Scotland around September 15. Watch the animation below (takes awhile to load)

http://coaps.fsu.edu/~maue/tropical/...l900_anim.html

note: this slide below changes every few hours so by the time you read it it may not show the storm over Scotland. You made need to visit the original site to see the most current projection.

I was kind of hoping it scares away folks who say they want to move to Florida.

Wouldn't it be more likely to encourage them to move to Florida?
("Scotland may be cold and dreary, but I was unwilling to make the move to Florida (despite the cheap condos & excellent turnkey business opportunities) because I was afraid of the hurricanes. Now, after Katia.. what was it? rainy and a bit windier than usual for a day??... I realise that my fear of hurricans was unfounded.")

Hurrican Katia has now been downgraded to "An English Summer."
