Starting to get paranoid about this whole selling houses business, have been on the market for just over 2 months, granted the worst 2 months of the year for selling, am I being realistic that things will pick up as spring approaches or is Canada in the s**t like most other countries and the housing market here is as dead as a dodo?
What were the amount of weeks on the market before an offer was made this time last year, anybody out there?

Not sure whether this will help you, but I thought it might be interesting for how the market has changed since last year.

Another one that shows the difference in the housing market prices to those of last year and what is to be expected into 2010.

I can see from your first link that although in most provinces prices have gone down from last year, in Halifax NS thay have actually gone up which gives me some hope...

Many thanks Ruby Murray, it's made for interesting reading, good to get some proper info about the housing market forecast in Canada, as I really would not have a clue!
