Horrid English Things.
We are having a debate in our household regarding what horrid things are in England that are considered the norm in Australia. For example, does England have cockroaches, mosquitoes, poisonous spiders, bindis (of the horrid lawn growing type), termites, sea lice, poisonous jelly fish etc? (Any other suggestions of horrible things England has that Australia doesn't would also be appreciated!)

Bob. Best just go wash your mouth out with soap and water there my lad - very popular with the over 60's, especially when the lights go on. Oh! you forgot to mention, loads of Aussies who have left Aussie for good! Got a problem have we?
We got the cockroaches , jellyfish & sandflies here in NZ. Oh and silver fish in some houses. All considered the norm where we live. |

Re: Horrid English Things.
Ok sorry....you're a better person than I am. I'll send a few of these human beings round to live in your neighbourhood and see how that works for you.
You have your opinion and I have mine...fair enough |
