Could someone please tell me what year 6 is in age and date of birth please.

The last year of junior school so 10/11 I believe.

At the moment Year 6 is for children born 1st September 1998 to 31st August 1999. They are aged 11 or 12.

In September 2010, Year 6 will be children born 1st September 1999 to 31st August 2000.

Thank you so much...it's so confusing especially as I am now in Queensland, so it's not even the same as the rest of Oz.

So mine was born Sept 1999 so Sept 2010 he will be year six.
