Help please

I have been in the USA for neary 3 years, I have my conditional2 year green card. I am seriously considering returning back to the UK due to homsickness, my 4 kids who still reside there and more importantly for medical care. My husband lost his job and our insurance and I have a very severe medical problems. If I return to the Uk will I be able to get income support/disability etc as I am unable to work? What about housing benefit etc? I am very worried.Thank you

Even if you have to wait a few weeks to be eligible for anything, your still better off there with the NHS than here with no job or health care right?
