hello from the uk!!

Hello everyone, well thats me nearing the end of my 5 week stay in the uk back to Perth on Friday next week leave the uk Wednesday.

I have loved every minute although i did forget how annoying certain family members can be not naming names:D We truly have had a ball but i still havent managed to see everyone i was hoping too had many drunken nights outs which we never have in perth (no babysitters) the shopping is good so much choice lovely food etc...

Hubby still thinks he likes Perth better so it hasnt changed his mind he will maybe see when we get back how brilliant it is having family around my daughter has loved having her grandparents uncles/aunt around her she thriving on it, i will be sad to say goodbye but im keeping my head up as i know i will be back one day.

hope you all had a fab xmas and new year, whats the weather like there just now? freezing here but i love it:D

Hi there...glad you've had a great Christmas over there. It's been stinkingly hot here over the Christmas break. It seems to have cooled off a bit at the moment. The flies have been bloody horrible...well, in our back garden they have  so armed with fly fogger and a swatter!

I know exactly how you feel I just spent 3 weeks back "home" over Christmas isn't it great to have babysitters and not have to plan a night out weeks in advance:thumbup:. We live in Toronto and have no family around either so like you it was so great to see our 5 year old boy playing with his cousin and our baby daughter getting spoiled rotten by granny and granda. Thankfully OH agrees we should move back ASAP.

Anyway have a safe trip back to Perth and hopefully you can start planning your next escape soon.;)

Not much to say, except it was very hot over Xmas, but cooler now (27).
Anyway, gives us a bell when you get back. Lets go out, you can wear the new clothes you got there:p

Yeah same:D i hope they drop loads, in time for when we get back. I know that it is bad for those selling in UK, but they have gone up way too much, so now it is time to get back to normality. Just like here in Perth. We unfortunatley bought in the boom, now i want to sell it has dropped. So making nothing. But if we buy in UK, hopefully we will get a bargain:thumbsup:
