We are returning to the UK after six years in Cyprus & will need to buy a home with the proceeds of our house sale here- not enough to buy a place outright. We were going for a Park Home or possibly renting until I found a company called HOMEWISE on the internet. The principal seems the answer to our problems but we have a few niggling doubts & would really appreciate others thoughts on this. The idea is we find a property (bricks & mortar) that we like, they purchase the property & give us a percentage discount. We then pay a one off lump sum in return for a life-time lease & when we both die the property then reverts back to the company. I know they win in the end but it would give us a better quality property.
I just wondered if anyone one on the forum has heard of or better still used this scheme or could suggest where I would go to to check out the company's record etc.
