Default Going home--need Uk Visa/passport advice

Married to a us citizen with one us born child. We are in the beginning stages of a planned return to Scotland next year. Any chance you could lend advice on how to obtain UK passport for our child? Also, having some trouble deciphering where to apply for my wife's spouse visa. Bogged down by mountains of seemingly conflicting information. Any advice you may be able to lend would be greatly appreciated. --Ben

Have you got your US citizenship?
