Moving back to UK

Morning all,
I was wondering if anybody could help me out with shipping costs and recommendations.
We're returning from Brisbane to the UK next May. We only want to take some of our furniture (probably 3 rooms worth of things like tv unit, buffet, beds, few kids toys) so I don't think we'll need a 20ft container and am thinking a shared one would work better.
Has anybody any knowledge of roughly how much a share or a 20ft would cost? I haven't spoken to any companies yet either so any advice on who to use/not use would be appreciated!

Hello Natesmummy, I am really no help, as we are in Thailand, but going back to the UK. I brought my whole house full here - never again. Beds, in UK, from say £150, Two settees, two easy chairs- about £700. television, about £500, for a large one. Table and four chairs in oak, £250 - might be cheaper to buy in UK? than shipping them. personal belongings, use BA, and use excess luggage, that is our plan. - all sorted. Check the prices, maybe best first? just a thought. love dontheturner
